Eyes on the Stupa, Swayambhunath

Swayambhunath is an ancient Buddhist pagoda a top hill in the west of Katmandu city, Nepal. It is also known as the “Monkey temple” as there are holy monkeys living in parts of the temple.

It is a group of women working together whose collective efforts not only make this festival continue for centuries but also serves as an example of unity to the young generation.

with people of their region, they also got a taste of the delicacy from their region like Batuk Chukani, Mada and many other delicious food.
The most important part of the festival is the fasting, which women start from the eve of Gaura to this evening. They fast for the good health of their husband and children. It is also believed that this festival will bring more celebrations and also marks that rainy season

Sunday Book Market

Sundays are busy days at the Daryagani second hand “Sunday Book Market” in Old Delhi. Over a stretch of the pavement running more than 1 km, over 100 booksellers cater to their clients. On Sundays most come here looking for cheap buys, especially students and book lovers, others come here seeking buyers, for books that have outlived their usefulness.

My children don’t like to Oppadi perform but one of son is folk dancer. I have six children. Ten years earlier I was done some kind day labor works. Later I prefer to play Oppadi when I was started to play Oppadi my income become a better too”.
